This policy explains what Tappraise (operated by Pixel Drift LLC) collects, how we use it, and your choices.

What we collect

Account details (name, email, password, stored hashed). Content you create (photos, notes, item details, appraisals, listings). Payment and payout information handled by Stripe (we do not store full card or bank numbers). Basic technical data (device, log, and usage information) to run and secure the service.

How we use it

To provide appraisals and the marketplace, process payments and payouts, prevent fraud and abuse, improve the product, and communicate with you about your account. Public marketplace listings you choose to publish are visible to anyone.

Service providers we share with

We use trusted processors to operate Tappraise: Stripe (payments and payouts), Supabase (database), Airtable (appraisal records), Cloudflare R2 (photo storage), Vercel (hosting), and AI providers (for identification, valuation, and image processing). They handle data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not sell your personal data.

Photos and AI processing

Photos you upload are sent to AI providers to identify items, estimate value, and generate enhanced images. Do not upload photos containing sensitive personal information you do not want processed.

Cookies

We use a secure session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated content by emailing us; some records may be retained where required by law (for example, transaction records).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.

Children

Tappraise is not intended for anyone under 18.

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
